Privacy Policy

What data we collect

We collect the information you provide when creating an account — your email address and optional display name. We also store your saved searches, favorite gear, and price-alert preferences to power your personalized experience. We log anonymous click events (which product, which retailer) to understand what's useful; no account is required and no personal identifier is attached to these events.

How we use your data

Your data is used to manage your account, send price-drop notifications if you opt in, and display your saved searches and favorites. We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties.

Browser storage

SwagCaddie stores your session token and UI preferences (such as view layout) in your browser's local storage — not in third-party tracking cookies. You can clear this at any time through your browser settings; doing so will sign you out.

Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We use a small number of infrastructure providers (hosting, database, search API) who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations. We may disclose data when required by law.

Your rights

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Account page. To request a copy of your data or raise a privacy concern, contact us below.

Terms of Use

SwagCaddie is a price-comparison tool. We display product listings and prices sourced from third-party retailers; we are not a retailer and do not process payments. Prices and availability may differ at checkout — always verify on the retailer's site before purchasing.

You may use SwagCaddie for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not scrape, reproduce, or redistribute our search results. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that abuse the service.

SwagCaddie is provided as-is with no warranty. We are not liable for pricing errors, purchase disputes, or third-party retailer conduct.
